Project developed during a photography class at HEAD – Genève. Inspired by the fiftieth anniversary of the Moon landing, we were asked to create an image series on the subject of outer space. I decided to envision an exploratory mission to a distant planetary system sending back pictures of its journey. To realise these pictures, I combined traditional photography (capturing lens flares, glitter, milk in water, and soap bubble surfaces) with 3D computer graphics. The end result was then presented in a handmade flatbook-bound volume.
