Promotional poster for an imaginary exhibition of photographer Andreas Gursky’s work.

Project developed during a graphic layout class at SUPSI – Lugano. Each student was asked to choose a photographer or an artist working with this medium and to create a poster to promote their imaginary exhibition. I selected Andreas Gursky, the German master of the large-scale format. The poster I created uses big typography organised in an architectural configuration, on top of an original image by Gursky. In this way, I wanted to emphasize and to highlight the main characteristics of the photographer’s work.
